Tea for Cultural Heritage

By supporting Dilmah's tea and paying a fair price, you support Dilmah Conservation and its many initiatives in Sri Lanka, such as preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Veddah community. The Veddah people, traditional hunter-gatherers, face challenges due to deforestation and national development encroaching upon their ancestral lands. As a result, their population and ancient traditions are at risk of fading away. Through initiatives like the Veddah Community Upliftment Programme, Dilmah Conservation is dedicated to empowering the Veddah community and safeguarding their cultural identity. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in preserving their age-old customs and ensuring a brighter future for the Veddah people.

Best Blackcurrant Tea Tasting

This tea is best taken straight, to fully savour its fruity and tart aroma. Perfect as a warm treat at any time of your day. To elevate your experience, try pairing it to meat dishes accompanied by sweet and sour sauces, such as a nice stuffed roast turkey with cranberry sauce.

Storage advice

Keep the tea stored in a cool, dark place. It is important when storing it to keep it away from warmth. If storing in the refrigerator/ freezer, pack in small completely airtight packets or jars.
