Imperial China Natural Jasmine Green Tea

The green leaves, dotted with jasmine petals and buds, display a beautiful range of colours from white to jade green. When brewed, they transform into a light infusion with olive hints, offering a clean, refined taste and a lovely floral scent. This pale brew is a perfectly balanced Jasmine Tea, created through a traditional method where night-blooming jasmine flowers are carefully blended with the tea, a process repeated several times to ensure a perfect harmony between the mild green tea and the jasmine. It's a fragrant and gentle experience, beautifully wrapped in the softness of jasmine.

About the Origin: China

China is known for having one of the longest tea traditions in the world. They've been growing green tea for about 5,000 years, with the first mentions of it in writing around 600 BC. For centuries, green tea has been a popular drink among the Chinese, cherished for its health benefits and revitalizing qualities. Dilmah chooses only the finest green tea for their products, made from young tea shoots picked in the fresh bloom of early spring. These shoots might be just a single bud, a bud with one leaf next to it, or a bud with two slightly opened leaves, all tender and full of flavour.

Storage advice

Keep the tea stored in the steel box, kept in a cool dark place. It is important when storing it to keep it away from warmth.
If storing in the refrigerator/ freezer, pack in small completely airtight packets or jars. Before use, wait for it to reach room temperature to prevent any condensation. Each defrosted packet should be used within a week after opening.
